You’ve probably heard the saying, “You don’t know what you don’t know.” It refers to problems or opportunities you simply aren’t aware of.
For example, you might think your plumbing system is fine. You have no problems! However, a plumber may take a look and immediately notice a weak joint that’s sure to leak in the near future. Professionals in their fields know about things we simply don’t.
The same situation can happen in design and decorating your home.
There may be issues or opportunities concerning your home that you can’t see. For example, you are renovating your bathroom and having to choose tiles for your shower you end up choosing the wrong finish and the wrong size which can lead to slipping and hurting yourself or your loved ones or, there may be opportunities on building in a niche for your shampoo and soap bottles but this did not enter your mind. Our design team can help you incorporate this part of the design and also go over all of your wish list. We will go over the finishes, create a mood board, and also can provide you with CAD drawings for floor plans and millwork.
That’s why we recommend we have a consultation periodically, ideally before any renovations. That way, you can get updated on what style and design are current and you’ll get insights into any issues or opportunities you wouldn’t otherwise be able to see.
